Cities Learn: Impact Garden Framework presented by Unity Effect
Join our upcoming webinar, “Cities Learn: Impact Garden Methodology“. Take action and be a catalyst for change!
Event Description
Cities often face many demands: responding to urgent crises, building public trust, coordinating across departments, all while working with limited time and resources. What if transformation didn’t feel like firefighting, but like cultivating a healthy garden?
This webinar introduces the Impact Garden Framework, a regenerative and hands-on tool designed for city leaders navigating complexity by supporting the conditions for systemic change across departments, public-private partnerships, and community-led initiatives. Hosted by ECoD with content from Unity Effect, the session guides participants through the framework, featuring real-world applications from the former and current European Capitals of Democracy, the City of Barcelona and the City of Vienna.Â
Imagine cities not as fixed blueprints, but as living systems shaped by the flows of people, nature, resources, and influence. By drawing on patterns from the natural world, the framework serves as a shared language and tool that helps cities:
- Make complexity easier to understand and act on
- Bring participatory evaluation to life in a practical and energising way
- Translate strategies into lasting, high-impact implementation
- Grow ecosystems of collaboration instead of isolated projects
You’ll walk away with a clear, adaptable tool to support initiatives from citizen assemblies to green infrastructure and urban equity. If you’re shaping your city’s future, the Impact Garden can help you make transformation visible, actionable, and lasting.
